PERTH TO BRISBANE/GOLD COAST
12 Day Road Trip

We have just only in the last few days realised this exploration trip can be scheduled. Hope you can join us/ road trips and super fun! Lots of good road music as well.

Buckle up, fellow adventurers!  It’s time to embark on an epic 12-day road trip from Perth to Brisbane, where the sun-kissed west coast meets the vibrant east coast.

Why settle for ordinary when you can chase extraordinary? Let’s dive into the heart of Australia, where rugged landscapes, azure waters, and hidden gems await us.

Day 1:
Perth - The Gateway to Adventure
Consider arriving a few days early in Perth, the city that whispers secrets of the Swan River and boasts a skyline that dances with the sun. Explore its vibrant streets, sip coffee by the waterfront, and let the anticipation build.  We depart for Margaret River on this day at 10am.

Day 2-3:
Margaret River - Sip, Savor, and Swirl
Margaret River, oh how you tempt us!  World-class wineries beckon, promising tastings that’ll make our taste buds waltz. Picture rolling vineyards, cellar doors, and sunsets that paint the sky in hues of grape and gold.

Day 4:
Pemberton - Where Giants Touch the Sky
Into the heart of the Gloucester National Park we go! Climb the Gloucester Tree, a towering arboreal ladder that bridges earth and sky. Feel the thrill as you ascend, leaves rustling, and the world shrinking below.

Denmark - Wander the Bibbulmun Track
Lace up those hiking boots! The Bibbulmun Track awaits—a trail that whispers tales of ancient forests, wildflowers, and the promise of discovery. Let’s walk, breathe, and lose ourselves in nature’s embrace.

Day 5-6: Elephant Rocks and Green Pool - Dive into Paradise
Elephant Rocks—where colossal boulders stand like ancient guardians, and the sea laps at their feet.  Take a plunge into the Green Pool, where emerald waters cradle your worries away.

Day 6: Albany - Skywalk to the Stars
Granite Skywalk—a stairway to the heavens. Cling to the edge, gaze across the Southern Ocean, and feel the wind whisper secrets of distant lands.  Former whaling town? More like a gateway to wonder.

Day 6-7: The Gap Lookout, Torndirrup - Where Earth Meets Fury
Stand on the edge of the world at The Gap Lookout. Waves crash, spray kisses your cheeks, and the raw power of nature leaves you breathless.

Day 8: Esperance - A Canvas of Beauty
Esperance, where beaches wear the purest white and seas shimmer like sapphire dreams. Dip your toes in Lucky Bay, where kangaroos hop along the shore.

Day 9: Norseman - Nullarbor Calling
Norseman, the gateway to the Nullarbor Plain. The vastness stretches before us—an ancient canvas of ochre and blue. Let the horizon swallow you whole.

Day 10:
Port Augusta - A Junction of Journeys
Hop off here if you want to leave the tour and visit Adelaide. Catch a bus or train to Adelaide. But fear not, for the road still sings its ballad and the road trip continues.

Day 11
Broken Hill
Broken Hill, where the outback whispers tales of miners and red earth.

DAY 12
And then, the Moree Thermal Springs—a liquid embrace, warm and healing.  Dive in, let the water cradle your soul.

Final Stretch: Goondiwindi - We Turn Towards Brisbane/Gold Coast at Goondiwindi, where the compass points east. Turn left, my friends, and follow the sun-kissed road toward Brisbane and the glittering Gold Coast.

Adventure awaits, fellow road warriors! Pack light, laugh loud, and let the open road weave its magic.

ALL THE BORING STUFF
On average we will complete 4.5 hours of driving a day.

The last four days we complete quite a bit more driving hours shared between the two drivers as we tackle the Nullabor Plain and then shoot our way across NSW towards Queensland. Those longer driving days reduces the hours over the first eight days to just 2 to 3.5 hours drive leaving heaps of time for exploring the amazing sights of southern Western Australia.

Please note this is an exploration trip and is unstructured. It is casual but it is going to be a lot of fun. We will bring all the supplies needed including an esky. You will just need a medium sized duffle bag. We may be able to accommodate two suitcases only in total from all guests. Please discuss suitcases with us.

All dinners, breakfasts and lunches are at own cost but we are hoping to choose meals and purchase as a team but it's flexible if you want to eat out.

We will be happy to get in and cook most nights but each day we will as a group choose if we cook, visit a cafe or buy from a supermarket. One or two nights we will have dinner at a restaurant of everyone's choosing but this schedule is flexible.

We will stay at camp sites/holiday parks with amenities. We expect this to be the case for every night except we are yet to confirm where we will stop along the Nullabor Plain but we will be choosing a safe location. You can choose to sleep in a tent (we supply) or cabins. Cabins are at own cost. Tents are single or two people occupancy/your choice. Camping is included in the price.

We will be travelling in a 2023 Kia Carnival. Two drivers in the front and 4 passengers in the back. Real nice, relaxing and comfortable travel.

We hope you can join us for this amazing adventure that we only found out a few days before printing that we could run such an event.
